I first met these two a year before their wedding when we photographed their engagement session. Spending that time with them beforehand made their wedding day feel even more special. It was such a gift to watch them go from planning a future together to becoming husband and wife.
From the quiet excitement of getting ready to the bouquet toss at the end of the night, this day was filled with so many genuine moments. The vineyard was bursting with color, the sun gave us the most beautiful golden light, and the vines made the perfect backdrop for a celebration that felt warm, relaxed, and full of love. Dorner Family Vineyard couldn't have been a more fitting place for these two to begin their marriage.
One of my favorite parts of the day was their first look. It gave them a chance to slow down, take a deep breath, and simply be together before everything officially began. They had also chosen to exchange private vows before the wedding day, which made those moments together even more meaningful. As someone who believes marriage is a covenant before God, I always love seeing couples intentionally set aside time to focus on what the day is truly about: eachother.
Their family and friends showed up in the best way. There were happy tears, hugs that lingered a little longer, and plenty of laughter throughout the day. It was obvious how loved these two are. And their cake? It was the sweetest little cake and it fit them perfectly. Simple, charming, and exactly what they wanted.
By the time the dance floor opened and the bouquet was tossed, everyone was ready to celebrate. It was one of those weddings where people weren't just attending an event, they were celebrating a marriage that they were genuinely excited to witness.
